I only have to “be good” 80% of the time? Oh wait! Actually – I don’t NEED to exercise so much right? That’s what it means! I can eat 80% of the time and get on the treadmill 2 times a week…. The good old 80 / 20 rule!

Well here what it REALLY means; A healthy body needs moderation and balance, this comes from 80% food and 20% exercise. You can not out-run a bad diet. You can exercise as much as you like but if your food contains more energy that you’re burning, you are going to gain fat/weight.

Abs are made in the kitchen

Another saying we hear a lot; and it is also true. Again, you can’t out-run a bad diet. So naturally blessed people can eat what they like, skip the gym and still look like a Greek god.

The majority of people, including myself, are not naturally blessed in this way. Which means in order to have our bodies shaped the way we want, we have to watch what we eat and exercise for our goals.

So let’s wrap this up: The 80/20 rule – 80% is nutrition, 20% is exercise on a daily basis. Eat and train for the goals you have. Enjoy a flexible lifestyle plan. Love yourself and love life.
